GOOD EATS

Here are some pictures of my favorite foods and meals. There weren't many but the ones that stand out are worth mentioning.

Technically this isn't a meal but it was the best service of tea I had in England. Notice the scone - their scones are round and moist and almost more of a what we would call a biscuit. I had just walked about 10 miles that day, I was in the Cotswold's, and while sitting there having this snack and relaxing, I literally fell asleep at the table.

Although this picture doesn't do it justice this was the best fish & chips I have ever had. This was in a small town called Durham.

Lamb shank pie in Edinburgh, Scotland.  I didn't know it at the time but this was the last really good hot meal I had for the remainder of the trip.

Salad Reine in Nice, France. This was a delicious salad with lots of yummy items. It was served at room temperature, to allow the flavors to develop and a undressed.  Oil and balsamic vinegar were provided for dressing. Very traditional.
The first cone holds perfectly lightly fried calamari and the second cone holds fried zucchini. Delicious.
Tiramisu in Milan. I don't even like Tiramisu here in the states but out of curiosity I tried it and it was amazing.
